Lately due to the holiday season, a lot of people have been curious about the Nixon headphones we carry.  They would like to know how they compare to other top brands, the pro’s and con’s and the quality.

Many of our customers enjoy Nixon headphones because the quality is great for the price.  From what I’ve noticed, most people buy the Whip model.  They are great item for a gift. So I’m going to give you a review on them. They are only $30, and are so universal! You get quality without putting a dent in your wallet. Many people enjoy using them while snowboarding/skiing because they fit well under your helmet.  They are also great for those who just want to relax and jam out at home or on the go.  A customer said “When I popped this pair of headphones out of the packaging, I couldn’t help but be a little taken back by their simplicity and minimalistic feel. They seemed a little cheap looking, but I proceeded to plug ‘em in to test their intended use. For the size they really pack a punch.. distortion free at high levels.”

The only con I have heard for 2 years is that you can’t get them wet or the sound quality is ruined.  Well… you shouldn’t be getting your headphones wet anyways, right?

Now many people don’t just buy something for the quality, they also buy something for the appearance.  Here’s what a customer said, “Yes I am like most people and do judge everything initially by looks. And of course I did that with these headphones.  I mean just look at them. For most people (Like me) I saw these and said “Man these things are ugly and plastic… why would anyone buy them? These things are much more amazing then they look.  Here’s what i have come to find:
Super light Weight (It is like your holding a pencil they are that light)
The earpad things- Omg they aren’t hard plastic. They are supper soft and squish and they stick to beanies amazingly well.
Looks- They are plain compared to skullcandies but the goldenrad stand out and I love their brightness.
Sound quality- Nothing to go bragging to your friends about but it is crystal clear and good for riding to.
DONT BE FOOLED. These are amazing headphones and I suggest trying them over the skullcandy icons any day. Well worth the extra money.”
